About this property
Coulscott House is a period house with a Georgian entrance, on the Coulscott Estate, a private cluster of cottages just outside Combe Martin in Exmoor National Park, with 20 acres of meadows, streams and woodland trails, more than 50 animals and a meadow for off-lead dog walks.
Inside there's a living room with a log burner, a snug and a secret lounge behind a bookcase door, two kitchens and a formal dining room, and a private chef can be booked. The bedrooms are split between an east wing of five and a west wing of three, and the house has its own hot tub.
The heated indoor pool, games room, soft play and fire pit are in the grounds and shared with other guests on the estate. Combe Martin's coves, pubs and shops are about a mile away.

- Hen and stag dos, weddings and other gatherings aren't permitted unless agreed with the provider and the owner, and large group bookings are accepted only by special arrangement.
House rules
- Arrival: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 9.30am
- Pets: Up to seven dogs, £50 per dog per week
- On the estate, a five-acre dog-walking meadow at the end of a grass path is set aside for off-lead walks.
- The provider's general conditions say dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, must not be left unattended in the property unless privately arranged with the owner beforehand, and must be kept out of bedrooms and off furniture.
- No smoking, vaping or candles inside.
