Revelstoke Combined books two properties together: Stoke Cottage, at the head of a wooded valley with sea views from its garden, and Revelstoke Park House, a remodelled 17th-century farmhouse at the head of a small private holiday park. Each has its own kitchen and a lounge with a wood burner.
The table that seats all 14 is in Revelstoke Park House, where there's also a reading snug upstairs, while Stoke Cottage's table seats six. Stoke Cottage has a games room above the garage with a small pool table, and Revelstoke Park House has an enclosed, terraced garden.
The South West Coast Path passes a few yards from Stoke Cottage, and from Revelstoke Park House you can walk down through a steep wooded valley to Stoke Beach. Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers, both with pubs on the Yealm estuary, are a few minutes' drive or a country-lane walk away.
