About this property
Porthpean House is a Grade II listed 19th-century house in Porthpean, a seaside village on St Austell Bay, about 50 yards from the beach. Charlestown, a historic harbour village, is about a mile away, and the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within a 15-minute drive.
The book-lined dining room has one large table for up to 20, and there are two kitchens, with a table for 10 in the main one and seating for eight in the Blue Kitchen. The drawing room has an open fire, a Broadwood grand piano and French doors to the garden, and there's a snug, a quiet office and a games room with table football, so the group can spread out.
Outside, the lawned garden runs to 10 acres, with garden furniture and a barbecue. Porthpean itself has a sailing club and a family-friendly beach, and Mevagissey and Fowey are five and eight miles away.
