About this property
The Vean is a restored Georgian country house in the wooded Porthluney valley on the Caerhays Estate, 10 to 15 minutes' walk from Caerhays Castle and near the coast path and two beaches. Guests get free entry to Caerhays Garden while it's open, from mid-February to mid-June.
Inside, the dining room has one table for all 16 and opens into the living room, which has a fire, to make one large space for the whole group. There's also a snug with an L-shaped sofa and Sky, and a kitchen fitted out for professional caterers, with a range cooker, two dishwashers and a pantry with a commercial fridge.
The house looks out over the estate's grounds from nearly every side, and outside there's a sun terrace, open lawn and a fenced garden with games, plus storage for bikes. The estate laundry service can wash clothes on request during your stay.
