About this stay
Located at the end of a long private track you may be forgiven for thinking you have taken a wrong turn as you are lead across the stunning local golf course, then through a pretty woodland area before the landscape opens up to Wormlsey Grange, proudly sitting on its own with uninterrupted views of the glorious Herefordshire countryside.
Once you step inside this magnificent house you will delight in how its period charm seamlessly blends with stylish modern furnishings and traditional finishing touches. Full height bay windows flood the drawing room and formal sitting room with natural light and generous sumptuous seating allows you to sit back, relax and take in those stunning rural views.
On those dark winter evenings you can close the original shutters, light the fire and enjoy a cosy evening relaxing with friends.
The dining room, with its bold wall coverings and plush chairs, has retained all the charm and character of an age gone by where to dress for dinner is certainly the order of the day.
For less formal dining, the large breakfast kitchen has plenty of space for the two breakfast tables, along with a separate utility room, a traditional Aga, separate conventional cooking facilities, a large fridge/freezer and two dishwashers, making preparations of those important celebratory meals a joy.
A wide oak carpeted staircase leads from the main hallway up to the first and second floors where ten tastefully furnished bedrooms await you. Each one has been individually decorated to complement the style of this stunning house. Equally the bathrooms have all been sympathetically restored to cater for modern day expectations, featuring large walk-in showers.
Outside, to the front of the house is parking for up to 15 cars, and from the central courtyard you can access the large boot room complete with additional shower room and stairs leading to the media room (don't expect to see much of the children or teenagers!).
The Grange is surrounded by soft landscapes and the main garden can be found to the rear of the house. Mainly laid to lawn with low stepped terraces and neat walkways, it is ideal for a game of boules or to just simply sit outside with a glass of wine and soak up those amazing views.
This exceptional house is the perfect choice for those looking for something extra special, for either short or longer stays.
For larger groups, Wormsley Grange and Cottage is also available to book sleeping 24 guests with use of two further bedrooms, one bathroom and its own living accommodation (please see separate listing).
