About this property
Panorama House sits on a clifftop looking across Bournemouth and Poole Bays, from the Purbecks to the Solent and the Isle of Wight. It was built in 1931 on Lord Wimborne's estate and later owned by Max Bygraves, whose piano is still in the living room.
A dining hall seats up to 14, with a smaller dining room for eight, a lounge with an open fire, and two snug areas in the kitchen. On the lower ground floor a games room has a full-size snooker table, table tennis, air hockey and a bar, and the second floor has another snug with sofas and two desks.
A tree-lined chine leads to seven miles of sandy beach without crossing a road, and the beach below the house is dog-friendly. Electric gates enclose the house and its garden, which has a deck and a terraced pond looking out to sea.
