About this property
Orchard View was originally two cottages, now joined, in the village of South Pool, with views across the valley to the church and the countryside beyond. The village sits on an inlet of the Kingsbridge and Salcombe Estuary, and the Millbrook Inn is in its centre.
The living, kitchen and dining room has a table for six and a folding table that brings it to 12, and there's a separate lounge with a log burner and a playroom with games and toys.
Outside, there's a front terrace with seating for six and a large sloping paddock with a barbecue, a trampoline and an adventure playground. The beaches at Millbay and East Portlemouth are three miles away.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 and a bathroom are off a small hallway up a staircase from the living, kitchen and dining room; bedrooms 3 to 5, a bathroom and a separate WC are off the landing up the stairs to the second wing.

- Hen and stag dos, weddings and other gatherings aren't permitted unless agreed with the provider and the owner, and large group bookings are accepted only by special arrangement.
- The lead booker must be 18 or over at the time of booking.

- Pets: Up to two dogs, £30 per pet per week
- Dogs are asked to stay off the furniture, keep out of the bedrooms and not be left in the property without their owner.
- The paddock has a clear boundary but paddock fencing, so it isn't enclosed for dogs.
- No smoking, and guests are asked to remove their shoes.
- Vaping and candles aren't allowed inside either.
- The provider's general conditions also say dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

- If you book with the reduced-occupancy discount, only three bedrooms are made up; confirm which before booking.
