About this property
Holset House stands on a hilltop in the hamlet of Holset, with views as far as Dartmoor, just over half a mile from the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth. It's a spacious, light house with high ceilings and large rooms.
There's a formal dining room with a table for 12, a kitchen with an Aga and a breakfast table for 10, and a lounge with an open fire. A snug, a study and a children's den up open-tread stairs from the hall give the group room to spread out.
Lawns surround the house, with a large terrace for eating outside, a gas barbecue, and swings and a slide. From East Portlemouth, about a mile away, a foot ferry crosses to Salcombe.
