About this property
Holmbush is an early 1900s detached house standing on its own in 40 acres, with views across the wooded Barle valley and Exmoor. Withypool's pub, shop and tearoom are less than half a mile away on foot, following the River Barle.
It's a roomy, no-frills house, with a sitting room with an open fire, a playroom with board games, and a dining room with an octagonal table for eight and a second table. The kitchen is large, with an oil-fired Aga, a walk-in larder and a pantry. All five bedrooms are upstairs, each with a wash basin.
Outside, a large informal garden has a grass terrace and a lawn, and four stables with a paddock can be arranged with the owner.
