The Potting Shed is a detached house in Ringstead, a village two miles inland from the sandy beaches at Old Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea, with views across open countryside front and back. The Bothy, a garden annexe for two, is booked with it.
The heart of the house is the open-plan kitchen and dining room, under a vaulted ceiling, with a table for eight to ten and full-length bi-fold doors onto the terrace and garden. The dual-aspect sitting room has two very large sofas and a wood-burning stove.
The Bothy sits at the far end of the garden: one open-plan room with oak beams, sheepskin rugs, a double bed, a small kitchen and a bioethanol fire, a wet room, and its own terrace with a hammock.
The Gin Trap Inn is a short walk away and the village shop stocks the essentials. Peddars Way and the Ringstead Downs are close by for walks, and the beach is two miles by bike.
