About this property
School House is a large, detached flint-and-brick house in the middle of Burnham Thorpe, the village where Nelson was born, with countryside views from the front and The Lord Nelson pub a couple of doors away.
The farmhouse-style kitchen has a vaulted, beamed roof, a range oven and a walk-in pantry, and opens into a big, light dining room with a table for eight and two sets of doors onto an internal courtyard. There's a sitting room with a fireplace and a card table in the bay window, and a family room with a pull-down cinema screen.
Outside, the garden is private and quiet, with shade, lawns and room to spread out around the pool.
Burnham Market's shops and restaurants are a short drive or bike ride away, and the beach at Burnham Overy Staithe is about an hour's walk.
