About this stay
Hart's House is a welcoming laid-back beach house, just a hop, skip and a jump from the harbour at Burnhham Overy Staithe where you can paddle and swim. Boasting lovely sea views from the main sitting room, kitchen and two of the bedrooms, it also features a spacious dining kitchen, a wood burning stove and is only a one-minute walk to a good pub/restaurant.
This relaxed property ticks all the boxes for a great family holiday. Accommodating ten guests when making use of the the sofa bed in the snug, this spacious detached holiday house is in an enviable location, providing the opportunity to make the most of the water a stone's throw away, and huge sandy beach which is in walking distance.
The spacious dining kitchen is the heart of the house with a large table and chairs and french doors which lead out onto the rear enclosed patio garden. On cooler evenings snuggle up together and play board games around the wood burning stove.
With a great pub/restaurant in the village, there is an urge to just park the car and enjoy the house and location. You can walk down to the water and there's an ice cream van usually parked at the bottom of the little harbour road during the summer months, which is never too busy.
Bring your own or hire kayaks and paddleboards from the boathouse to explore the creeks, enjoy crabbing from the little jetty, catch the regular Coasthopper bus to a nearby village and walk back - the options are endless.
The location is also perfect for walkers and bird watchers, with miles of coastal path and marshes, and you can relax in the garden listening to waders, and noisy skeins of geese flying over to roost in winter.
Hart's House is a great choice for a family holiday at any time of the year. Once here you can park your car up for the week and never run out of fun.
