Carousel is a family home on a private estate near Angmering-on-Sea, with sea views at the front and the South Downs behind. A gate from the walled lawn leads across the road to the beach, a long pebble and sand shoreline lined with wooden groynes.
The ground floor is one large open-plan space, with a lounge that has a wood burner and a piano, French windows to the sea-facing terrace, and a kitchen with a range cooker and a large dining table. Five bedrooms are on the first floor, and the second floor has two simply furnished dormitories with four single beds each and a playroom between them, which the listing pitches at youngsters.
Outside there's a terrace with a charcoal barbecue, a level walled lawn, and a heated outdoor shower for coming back from the beach. Pubs are within walking distance, Angmering's shops are two miles away, and Goodwood is about half an hour's drive.
